Driving Instructor Mike Anderson
Hi, I'm Mike Anderson, an Australian driving instructor with over a decade of experience. I pride myself on maintaining a high passing rate, which reflects my dedication to ensuring that each student is well-prepared and confident when they take their test. My focus is on creating a friendly atmosphere where students feel comfortable and secure behind the wheel.
I utilize proven training methods, including target fixation (looking where you want to go to guide the car), hand-over-hand steering, and defensive driving techniques. I aim to equip my students with the skills they need to be safe drivers on the road, whether they are learning for the first time or brushing up on their abilities.
I hold a Bachelor of Education from Edith Cowan University, and in addition to my instructor certifications, I have over 15 years of experience working in the disability sector, with Certificates 3 and 4 in Disability. This background allows me to offer tailored, inclusive driving lessons for students of all abilities.
Certified through the Department of Transport compliance assessment four times, I also hold a Certificate 4 in Transportation and Logistics, ensuring that my lessons meet the highest industry standards.
